How to establish a natural contact between the astronauts left to discover Mars and their close relations on Earth, when a delay prevents them from communicating in real time?
While the subject is slowly beginning to be addressed by the scientific community, we attempt here a sociological, fictional and design point approach to answer this question. The objective is to set goals for the desirability of the product or service that will be put in place to allow different people to talk across space, despite complex living conditions. A good treatment of digital interfaces, the presence of the tangible and a reasoned use of new technologies are, among other aspects, to be privileged.
